Aishwarya Rai to act in the film about Taj Mahal

Aishwarya Rai has been hired to act in a film about Taj Mahal. Aishwarya Rai will play the role of Mumtaz Mahal - the favourite wife of Mughal emperor Shah Ja Han who built Taj Mahal in memmory of her.

Oscar-winning actor Sir Ben Kingsley, who will also be producing the $30 million film, will play Shah Jahan.

Bipasha Basu is playing the role of Shah Jahan's daughter - Jahanara.
